Observe! Observe! Observe! Keep quiet and observe patiently. Knowledge will reveal itself.
Observation is everything. Only a good observer can become a good learner. Accept the fact that I do not know anything & keep on observing. No need to question everytime you get a doubt, no need to discuss, no need to justify right or wrong, no need to explain anything to anybody while you are learning. Keep ‘faith’ on the source you are learning from & just keep on observing. Silently and patiently. While learning the attitude should never be to prove anything right or wrong. Otherwise it would hamper the observation.
In fact, pure observation is the way to actual learning. What is ‘pure observation’ ? Observation without any ‘conditioning’ or ‘prejudices’.
Now when I said do not question, it may sound just opposite to what the “rebellious” people say these days. But yes, this is the fact. When we hear from people to question this, question that, question the system, question the tradition, bla..bla…bla… , we actually do not realize when we get distracted from the actual questioning ( which is for the learning purpose) to the ‘ego-trap questioning’. This type of short-tempered and impatient way of questioning is often meant to downgrade others to satisfy one’s own ego and has nothing to do with learning.
‘Ego’ ( अहंकार) is the biggest enemy of true learning because it hampers observation and without observation there is no learning.
(One needs to know What is अहंकार actually?)
So now what should we do, stop questioning ? No, not at all. The key is observation. If you are a keen observer, 9 out of 10 questions will vanish by itself. For a good observer, things become such clear that even the questions that were about to come will be answered beforehand. The remaining one doubt, one will be able to frame it in a proper way. And a properly framed question has the answer hidden in it. Observation is the key to all answers.
